Mexico City, Mexico (1978).


The artist pursued independent studies at the "National School of Plastic Arts (now FAD, UNAM)" with Profesor Francisco Castro Leñero and a contemporary painting seminar with Professor Ignacio Salazar, UNAM. He studied drawing at the "Gilberto Aceves Navarro Workshop".

He later enrolled at the "School of Painting, Sculpture, and Engraving, La Esmeralda (ENPEG)" where he studied with teachers such as Patricia Soriano, Fabian Ugalde, Carla Rippey, and with theorists Jorge Reynoso Pholenz, Jose Manuel Springer, and Eduardo Andión. He earned a semester-long exchange program at the"Ecolé Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Angers, France", pursuing a multidisciplinary program focused on drawing. He completed his first year of a master's degree at the "Academié Royal Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles ARBA-Esa, Brussels, Belgium". He has participated in various group exhibitions in Mexico, France, Japan, Bolivia, Guatemala, and Belgium. He has had solo exhibitions in the main lobby of the "Chamber of Deputies of the Congress of the Union", "A Vision Hard to gnaw" (2007), and "Nocturnal Faces" (2008), Manuel Felguerez Gallery, Rector's Office of the University of Mexico (UAM), "Voraz Fertilidad" (Voracious Fertility), "Museo Historia de Tlalpan" (2013), and "Open Studio" in Coyoacán, Mexico City (2019).

He was awarded the "Young Creators in Painting" FONCA scholarship (2007-2008). He is part of public and private art collections in Mexico, Bolivia, the USA, France, Belgium, Germany, and Japan.
